The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating administrative, logistical, and compliance-related activities across the construction lifecycle. The Coordinator will support project managers, field teams, and customer care to ensure projects are executed efficiently and documentation is accurately maintained.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in construction, homebuilding, land development, or a related field preferred; administrative experience in a fast-paced environment is also valued.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail); familiarity with construction or design tools (e.g., Autodesk) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage project requisitions (REQs), utility applications (electric, water, sewer), and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Maintain accurate document control for project records, including permits, job cards, inspection reports, contracts, and regulatory documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and retention policies.
  • Support contract administration and financial coordination, including purchase order (PO) creation, invoice tracking, and collaboration with accounting to ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Coordinate subcontractor onboarding and administer agreements for Model E projects, ensuring all trade partners are compliant prior to mobilization.
  • Execute procurement activities, including material ordering and vendor coordination, ensuring timely delivery aligned with construction schedules.
  • Coordinate site logistics, including scheduling deliveries and pickups, arranging dumpsters and temporary facilities, and supporting overall site readiness.
  • Schedule and track required inspections (building, electrical, fire, solar, etc.), ensuring timely completion and proper documentation.
  • Monitor project schedules and progress, identifying potential risks such as procurement delays, utility constraints, or permitting issues, and escalating as needed.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for special projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
