About The Position
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and detail-oriented Construction Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, vendor negotiations, and purchasing activities for construction projects across Texas. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction procurement and can confidently negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven background in construction and procurement
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive deals
- Experience handling multiple supplier quotes and vendor comparisons
- Fully knowledgeable in procurement processes and construction materials
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials and services
- Request, review, and compare quotes from multiple vendors
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency
