About The Position

Rummel Construction, Inc. is seeking a Parts Runner for their day shift. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring comprehensive knowledge of automotive parts. The role involves operating a company vehicle to deliver small parts, supplies, and materials to jobsites throughout the Tucson/Nogales area and out of state. The Parts Runner must maintain constant communication with a dispatcher, communicate with vendors and suppliers, possess an acceptable driving record, have knowledge of and ability to navigate the geographic area, and be able to lift, load, and unload parts and materials. Parts Runners are a critical part of the maintenance and purchasing department, ensuring that crucial materials and parts are delivered to jobsites to support ongoing work and allow for continued operations.

Requirements

Comprehensive product knowledge of automotive parts
Must have an acceptable driving record
Knowledge of/ability to navigate the geographic area
Ability to lift load/unload parts and materials
Must be able to pass DOT Medical Clearance and Regulated Drug Screen for a CMV driver in the State of Arizona (required to pull trailers)
Must have knowledge of utilizing technology (i.e. i-phone, phone applications, etc.)
Must be able to work from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

Operate a company motor vehicle to travel to jobsites throughout the Tucson/Nogales area and out of state to deliver small parts, supplies, and materials.
Maintain constant communication with a dispatcher to advise of destination.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers.
Lift, load, and unload parts and materials.
Pick up and deliver crucial materials, parts and more to jobsites around the state.
