About The Position

For more than 35 years, Housing Visions has been revitalizing neighborhoods through real estate development and community collaboration. As one of the largest nonprofit development, construction, and property management organizations in New York, we manage more than 2,000 residential units across the state. The Construction Painter is responsible for preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces for new construction, rehabilitation, and renovation projects. This position plays an important role in delivering high-quality finishes that enhance the appearance, durability, and value of Housing Visions properties. The Construction Painter works closely with the construction team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, project specifications, and applicable building codes.

Requirements

Experience as a painter (DOE for painters and lead painters)

Responsibilities

Preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces for new construction, rehabilitation, and renovation projects.
Ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the appearance, durability, and value of Housing Visions properties.
Working closely with the construction team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, project specifications, and applicable building codes.
