About The Position

This role is responsible for managing construction loan projects, including draws and inspections, within the construction management software. Key functions include reviewing and approving contractor applications, maintaining contractor information, and inputting loans and budgets into the system. The specialist will also coordinate with Mortgage Servicing for permanent financing documents and perform other assigned duties. Performance is measured by compliance with regulations, knowledge of mortgage products, adherence to business policies, providing professional service, and maintaining exception reports.

Requirements

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
• Experience with BUILT or another Construction Management software required.
• Familiarity with and ability to use a PC and mortgage software system to input applicant information and create closing documents.
• Good communication skills to interact with applicants and agents.
• Ability to learn all aspects of real estate processing.
• High degree of organizational skills and ability to work accurately while meeting deadlines.

• Encompass experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve contractor applications, including verifying references, obtaining credit reports, and setting up in construction software.
• Input and set up budgets for each originated construction project.
• Manage draws and inspections for the life of the construction loan.
• Book Encompass Loans into BUILT.
• Coordinate with Mortgage Servicing for documents required for permanent financing.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
