Shook Construction is seeking a Construction Operations Co-Op for Spring 2027 in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This paid internship offers students studying Construction Management, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering Technologies & Technicians, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields the opportunity to apply classroom learning to real construction projects. Co-ops will work alongside experienced professionals, have an assigned mentor, and gain practical experience in preconstruction and construction engineering tasks on educational, healthcare, industrial, and water resource projects. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, developing skills in quantity take-offs, plans and specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, materials, field quantities, and labor. Returning co-ops can gain exposure to different construction opportunities.
