Entry Level Construction Materials Testing Technician
About The Position
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking experienced Geotechnical Engineering Technicians for work in the Odessa/Midland, Texas area. GTA is a well-respected geotechnical engineering and environmental consulting firm serving clients across the civil engineering and environmental consulting space. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on fieldwork and wants to contribute to projects that rely on quality materials testing and clear, consistent results. As a Geotechnical Engineering Technician, you will play an important part in supporting project teams and helping deliver the testing services our clients count on.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Experience with concrete and soils testing
- Own a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver's license
- US citizen or permanent resident (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
- Overtime and weekend work WILL BE REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- BS in Civil Engineering or Geology preferred, but not required
- ACI certification strongly preferred
- Other certifications like NICET, ICC and TxDOT a plus
