Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Pass a pre-employment drug test.
Physically able to stand, squat, and lift 50–100 lbs over a long workday.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Flexible schedule—must be available for overtime, weekends, and occasional out-of-town assignments.

Responsibilities

Perform field testing and inspections of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, mortar, asphalt, and reinforcing steel on active job sites.
Learn how to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Travel daily to various project sites.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions, performing physical tasks (lifting 50–100 lbs, standing, squatting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods).
Accurately document test results and communicate findings to project managers and site personnel.
Engage as part of a team, solving challenges and supporting construction projects.
