About The Position
An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the northern Houston, TX area for a local individual with 5+ years’ experience as a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with a background in Construction Materials Testing and Management. This position would earn a base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, Life insurance, PTO and other outstanding perks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Construction Materials Testing Management experience with a focus on Soils, Concrete, Asphalt, and Steel Testing
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering

Responsibilities
- Proposal writing
- Reviewing and signing CME reports
- Reviewing laboratory test and data
- Experience with Geotechnical and Environmental reports (Phase I and Phase II) CME reports
- Tracking various project/investigation reports
- Conducting site visits
- Supervising laboratory activities
- Communicating with clients, drillers, and managing laboratory/testing staff
