The Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Manager plays a pivotal role in efficiently coordinating all laboratory activities to ensure work is completed on time and in accordance with project requirements and safety standards. Responsible for the quality and safety of construction materials and structures, the CMT Laboratory Manager oversees laboratory operations, staff, and equipment while developing technical procedures and maintaining accreditation standards (USACE, AMRL, CCRL). This multifaceted position involves implementing safety regulations, asset management and proficiency with laboratory equipment, performing geotechnical and construction phase testing on a wide variety of materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt, and ensuring adherence to industry standards, making it essential to the successful completion of construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in ensuring the quality and safety of construction materials, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects. You may also travel to various job sites and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
