About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join our team in Dallas, TX . No experience necessary. As a technician, we will train you to perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Onsite materials testing is conducted on various commercial and transportation construction projects located throughout the area. New hires will receive in-depth technical training and industry certifications upon successful completion of examinations and demonstration of ability.   • ACI Field Level I and Radiation Safety Certification (within 6 months of hire)
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office experience or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field testing of construction materials.
  • Sample and test soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and clients to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Perform and monitor field and laboratory tests for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and third-party partners.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols.
  • Learn and utilize internal systems (e.g., Metafield, D365).
  • Complete Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and adhere to safety programs.
  • Participate in required safety training and communicate safety expectations to team members.
