About The Position

Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for a Laboratory Construction Materials Testing Technician to join their team in Sacramento and Stockton, CA. This role involves performing routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory to verify conformance to construction plans, specifications, and geotechnical engineering purposes. The technician will test soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to perform various tasks as directed by a supervisor. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to use a computer.
• General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
• Must have own vehicle, a valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Willing to travel locally as required to fulfill local project assignments.

• Caltrans Certification
• Soils, Aggregates, and / or Asphalt certifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory.
