About The Position

Kleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for a Laboratory Construction Materials Testing Technician to join their team in Sacramento and Stockton, CA. This role involves performing routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory to verify conformance to construction plans, specifications, and geotechnical engineering purposes. The technician will test soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials and may be asked to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor. Requirements

• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be able to use a computer.
• General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
• Must have own vehicle, a valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Willing to travel locally as required to fulfill local project assignments.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician - Grade I
• ACI Aggregate Testing Technician
• ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician
• Caltrans Certification Soils, Aggregates, and / or Asphalt
• Ability to obtain preferred certifications.
