About The Position

PRI Construction Materials Technologies, LLC (PRI-CMT) is an independent, accredited testing laboratory dedicated to the construction materials industry. Our objective is to provide the finest in testing, inspection, and litigation support services, backed by a state-of-the-art facility, dedicated staff, and deep industry expertise. This position is in our Tampa, FL Office. You will assist in building laboratory scale performance testing mock ups, such as 12’ x 24’ roof assemblies for wind uplift resistance, 8’ x 8’ wall assemblies for water resistance performance, and 4’ x 4’ floor assemblies for failure load performance. In addition, you will assist with other types of small and large scale build, test, and breakdown projects.

Requirements

Minimum: High School Diploma / GED
Minimum: 1+ years of related experience (e.g. construction worker, contractor, handyman etc.)
Minimum: Able to speak and write English fluently
Minimum: Able to lift 50+ lbs
Minimum: Able to work in varying weather conditions, including Florida summer outside.
Ability to commute to Tampa, FL 33610 (Required)
Ability to relocate to Tampa, FL 33610 before starting work (Required)

Preferred: 3+ years of related experience (e.g. construction worker, contractor, handyman etc.)
