About The Position

Overwatch Mission Critical is a service-disabled Veteran-owned small business (SDVOB) offering construction professional services, talent acquisition, and general contractor services for the mission-critical infrastructure industry. Our mission is the construction and management of state-of-the-art data centers with the precision and reliability this industry demands. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to enter the construction industry and build a long-term career in construction management. Previous construction experience is not required. The team is intentionally open to candidates coming from other industries — retail, hospitality, restaurants, manufacturing, customer service, operations, cosmetology/hair styling, or other fast-paced environments — who demonstrate the right transferable skills, professionalism and genuine interest in construction. Culture is HUGE for the team. They can teach construction. What is much harder to teach is communication, humility, curiosity, work ethic, organization and the ability to build relationships.

Requirements

Open to entry-level and career-transition candidates.
Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, operations, customer service, or other fast-paced environments is a plus but not required.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws (for roles requiring on-site presence or travel).
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment.
Must be able to perform essential job functions safely and effectively in a dynamic environment that includes ongoing construction activity and evolving site conditions.
Personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots, is required.

Responsibilities
