About The Position

SB Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and driven project management professional to support planning and execution of data center, critical infrastructure, and large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design and construction projects. The role supports Project Managers with coordination across stakeholders in a fast-paced, technically complex environment. The posting describes the position as Construction Manager, Data Centers, while the Basic Function describes a Senior Project Manager role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
8+ years of professional experience.
Basic understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and project coordination.
Familiarity with reading construction drawings and technical documents.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in construction or engineering project support roles, with exposure to data centers or large mechanical/electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Support Project Managers in coordinating design and construction efforts across multiple stakeholders.
Assist in reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, including architectural plans and MEP specifications.
Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items to support clear communication across teams.
Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools.
Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and change order documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and organize project inputs.
Prepare regular status reports and support presentations and client meetings.
Help identify potential project risks and escalate issues to the Project Manager as needed.
