About The Position

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing on-site construction operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to company quality standards. This role involves directing field personnel and subcontractors, managing site logistics, and enforcing safety and compliance protocols to deliver successful construction projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or a related role, with a proven track record of successfully managing on-site operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the activities of field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
  • Ensure all construction work meets or exceeds quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively address and resolve on-site challenges or issues promptly to minimize project disruptions.
  • Enforce all safety policies and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure best practices are followed and identify potential hazards.
  • Implement corrective actions to address safety concerns and mitigate risks on the construction site.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely progression of construction activities.
  • Coordinate the allocation of materials, equipment, and labor to optimize efficiency and meet project deadlines.
  • Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on project status, including any issues that may impact timelines or budgets.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing updates as needed.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, inspections, and any incidents on-site.
  • Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained and documented appropriately.
