About The Position

William Charles Electric, a MasTec Company, is currently hiring for a Construction Manager to support our Power Delivery team. The Construction Manager will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of electrical construction projects. The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of project operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as the primary liaison between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and company leadership while driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

Requirements

5+ years of construction management experience, preferably within electrical, utility, power delivery, renewable energy, or heavy civil construction industries.
A combination of education and experience will be considered. May include Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and contract administration.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel to project sites as required
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
OSHA 30 Hour
Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status)
Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Company’s Zero Injury principles
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Read, analyze and interpret blueprints, technical procedures, contracts or governmental regulations
Financial and budget management
Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients & customers

Responsibilities

Safety planning for all field operations and activities within the assigned project’s scope of work
Understand the applicable trades agreements and coordinate with the Local Bargaining Units
Personnel management, including setting production goals, safety goals and quality goals, craft call outs from locals, work assignments, weekly time management, manage craft ratios in accordance with the project agreement and Collective Bargaining Agreement
Identify resources needed, including personnel, material and equipment to perform the scope of work
Manage and update the work schedule to include, manpower, equipment, materials (including, but not limited to Cable Management Plans)
Contribute to monthly cost to complete reviews for assigned project and advise the Project Manager
Weekly quantities completed and accurately reported
Coordinate all equipment assignments and logistics
Review progress and performance weekly with the Project Manager
