The Construction Manager supports the Site Manager in the delivery of Construction Management services for a brownfield coal-to-gas power plant conversion project executed through multiple owner-held construction contracts. Working within an active operating facility, the Construction Manager provides daily field leadership and coordination of contractor activities to support safe, efficient, and predictable project execution. The Construction Manager serves as a primary interface between contractors, project controls, engineering, commissioning, operations, and the Construction Management team. The role is responsible for monitoring contractor performance, coordinating field activities, identifying and resolving execution issues, and ensuring alignment with project safety, quality, schedule, and operational requirements. Construction will be performed by a combination of union and non-union contractors under client-managed contracts. This position does not include responsibility for direct management of self-perform craft labor or contractor workforce supervision, but focuses on contractor oversight, coordination, and construction assurance activities on behalf of the Owner. The role aligns with BV construction management responsibilities involving contractor coordination, schedule oversight, quality management, and stakeholder interface activities.
