About The Position

Dream Finders Homes is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee newly constructed residential homes. The role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires attention to detail, enforcement of workplace safety requirements, and effective work toward tight deadlines. The position includes managing construction budgets and variances, coordinating supply and trade issues, and partnering with builders to maintain quality, coordinate construction schedules, support customer satisfaction, and facilitate communication across teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of construction experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable automobile for on-site use.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• At least 2 years of residential homebuilding experience.
• Homebuilding software experience, such as BuildPro.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of blueprints and takeoffs, and manage budget variances.
• Coordinate project supply and trade issues with the purchasing department.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project.
• Coordinate builder loading, start timing, and pace.
• Monitor builder communication regarding sales orders to maximize closings and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct weekly team meetings.
• Review and approve subcontractor purchase orders.
• Conduct weekly individual planned encounters.
• Enforce workplace safety requirements.
