Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 6 years of progressive construction management experience.
  • Demonstrated capability leading project teams and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of project controls, documentation, and construction administration processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Reliability and dependability.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality to support on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Lead project administration activities such as RFIs, submittals, change management, pay applications, and closeout documentation as applicable.
  • Coordinate with contractors, clients, agencies, and internal disciplines to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
  • Maintain and review project documentation and reporting to track progress, compliance, and risks.
  • Promote job site safety and oversee applicable environmental compliance requirements.
  • Lead and mentor project staff, supporting team development and effective workload coordination.
  • Facilitate startup/commissioning activities, punch lists, and coordination with supporting teams (e.g., document control, survey, environmental, land acquisition) as applicable.
  • Support constructability reviews and value engineering efforts to improve delivery efficiency.
