About The Position

At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you’ll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before. You’ll work alongside people who think big and act bold - project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, we’re transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future. The work involves acting as the Owner’s representative in all aspects of project delivery, providing executive-level oversight of construction activities, staff, and consultants. You will serve as a primary advisor to Client executive leadership, supporting strategic decisions and issue resolution. You will lead and direct Resident Engineers, inspectors, project controls personnel, and support staff. You will maintain full accountability for project-wide safety performance, ensuring protection of Client employees, State personnel, contractor staff, and the traveling public at all times. You will drive a proactive safety culture targeting zero lost-time incidents and oversee contractor safety programs, audits, and incident-response protocols. You will lead all aspects of construction execution from mobilization through closeout, ensuring alignment with project scope, contractual requirements, and Client objectives. You will monitor and manage schedule and budget performance, reporting directly to executive leadership, and identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as needed. You will oversee coordination across engineering, construction, and operational interfaces, and provide senior-level oversight of contract administration, claims, and change management. You will lead negotiation and resolution of complex change orders and contractor claims, ensuring strict conformance with all Client contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements. You will advise Client leadership on contractual risks and commercial strategies. You will oversee and integrate all project functions, including engineering/design coordination, construction management, QA/QC, materials testing, environmental compliance (CEQA/NEPA), third-party coordination, and community outreach. You will lead constructability reviews and provide strategic input on design packages. You will provide executive oversight of CPM scheduling, phasing, and sequencing strategies, and validate cost controls, forecasts, and contingency management. You will direct recovery planning and schedule-acceleration strategies when required. You will represent the Client in public forums, community meetings, and interagency coordination, and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and key stakeholders. You will coordinate with transit operations to minimize disruptions to service. The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
