Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Construction Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to work on a large Rail and Transit project in the Portland OR (Pacific Northwest) area. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team. Requirements

  • Licensed Design Professional or Certified CM Professional.
  • Minimum of 8 to 15 (8-15) years overall experience or equivalent including (8) years or equivalent experience in coordinating construction activities for expansion of yard or facilities and shop construction or renovation projects of major public transportation.
  • This will be a Field Position.
  • Must have proven abilities to manage a multidisciplinary team, interface with Client and Design-Builder teams.
  • Must also conduct assessment and provide recommendations to the Client as requested.
  • Will be the POC (including meetings) for Client communications with the Design Builder Contractor including RFI’s, Potential Change Orders, Client requests, Quality and Safety issues and Contract and daily reports.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Good Oral and Written communication abilities.
  • Ability to read and understand CPM Schedules.
  • Have a basic understanding of the Applicable Building Codes.
  • Software skills should include: MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, ProCore, Adobe Acrobat, Basic SharePoint.

  • Amtrak experience preferred.
