About The Position

Support the construction program upgrades for the KCVA located at 4801 Linwood Blvd, KC, MO 64128. The intent of this contract is to expand VHA’s capabilities for contract management oversight of projects and project support services. The required support is needed to meet Non-Recurring Maintenance (NRM) infrastructure upgrades across VISN 15. All proposed personnel to perform services under this requirement must be United States citizens and obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NACI).

Requirements

Bachelors degree in a technical discipline of Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering, from an accredited school of higher education.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in both design and construction with a focus on medical facilities preferred.
Knowledge of Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements.
Proactive in helping to resolve problems and minimize claims taking all reasonable measures to anticipate problems and delays and to minimize or eliminate their adverse impact on project completion and to make certain that work is performed in conformity with applicable requirements (codes, regulations, standards, construction contract plans and specifications)
Communication, Language, and Software Skills with the ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy
Must be a United States citizen
Must obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NACI)
