About The Position

Generally responsible for total delivery of services safely, on time, within performance budget and meeting quality expectations on moderately complex projects. Work at this level requires progressive experience in construction management and involves utilization of project controls for cost, schedule and quality of projects. This work will be performed under minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction management or project related experience.
  • Ability to lead a small team to deliver on commitments.
  • Knowledge of the Hargrove project execution procedures.
  • Knowledge and application of company business standards and good practices.
  • Knowledge and application of company engineering standards and project controls tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in complex project management.

  • A comprehensive understanding of the function of all engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field from an accredited university is highly preferred.
  • General Contractors License is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and coordinates daily/weekly construction execution plans.
  • Reviews engineering drawings for constructability and field readiness.
  • Identifies access, staging areas, material needs, and field constraints.
  • Serves as the primary site contact for contractors.
  • Ensures contractors follow Mosaic procedures, permits, and safety rules.
  • Monitors contractor progress, manpower, and productivity.
  • For T&M projects, reviews and approves timesheets daily.
  • Stores electronic versions of approved timesheets on SharePoint site.
  • Performs daily field safety walks and participates in toolbox talks.
  • Ensures work permits, JHAs, and safety plans are completed properly.
  • Stops unsafe work and escalates issues as needed.
  • Performs housekeeping audits.
  • Ensures TRAP program is being followed on all activities, and permits are written per risks identified within the TRAP.
  • Ensures workers are qualified for the trade they are performing, i.e. equipment operators, welders, etc.
  • Coordinates field activities with operations, maintenance, and engineering.
  • Supports outage/turnaround planning and execution.
  • Reviews and validates field/earned progress against the schedule.
  • Verifies work is installed per Mosaic specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Conducts field checks, inspections, and punchlist items.
  • Coordinates testing, commissioning, and turnover documentation.
  • Posts electronic documents on SharePoint site to manage documentation.
  • Ensures materials, equipment, and tools are available for planned work.
  • Tracks materials deliveries and resolves field material shortages.
  • Coordinates heavy lifts, equipment mobilization, and site logistics.
