Position Overview The Construction Manager – Construction Administrator (CM-CA) provides onsite construction management and administrative oversight for VA healthcare facility projects, specifically supporting upgrades at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Serving as the Contractor’s authorized point of contact with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the CM-CA ensures construction activities comply with project specifications, VA standards, codes, and Medical Center requirements through submittal review coordination, RFI tracking, schedule monitoring, field inspections, as-built verification, defect identification, commissioning support, and claims assistance. The CM-CA applies sound professional judgment to evaluate technical documentation, assess constructability, identify deficiencies, ensure compliance with applicable local, state, federal, and VA design standards, and support successful project delivery while minimizing disruption to patient care, hospital operations, and ongoing medical services. This is a full-time, onsite position. Location for this position is: Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10 North Greene Street, Baltimore, MD Employees are expected to report to the designated work location during scheduled work hours. Any required travel is the employee's responsibility and is not compensated unless otherwise required by applicable law. The company does not provide a company vehicle. Employees must use their own transportation when travel is required.
