About The Position

LBYD Federal is seeking a Construction Manager to provide on-site project and construction-management support for USACE projects. The role supports facility and infrastructure projects from requirement definition and design through acquisition, construction, turnover, and closeout by maintaining schedules, logs, records, reports, and coordinated technical actions. The Construction Manager coordinates with company management, engineers, inspectors, designers, authorized Government representatives, facility users, and construction contractors. The role supports Government decision-making but does not authorize contract scope, cost, or schedule changes, accept work for the Government, or direct contractor means and methods. Work may be performed in offices, occupied facilities, exterior and utility areas, and active construction sites. The position requires compliance with applicable federal access, security, cybersecurity, safety, records-management, and information-protection requirements. Employment is contingent upon contract award, Government funding, exercise of the applicable option, and satisfaction of access requirements.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders; analyze schedules and project controls; identify cost, schedule, quality, and operational risks; maintain complete records; facilitate issue resolution; and communicate decision-ready information through authorized channels.
  • Must successfully complete applicable federal background and installation-access requirements.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain required credentials, including a CAC or DBIDS credential, as applicable.
  • Must comply with Schriever Space Force Base security, cybersecurity, safety, records-management, and information-protection requirements.
  • Must provide proof of citizenship as a condition of employment.
  • May be required to obtain and hold a Secret or higher U.S. Government clearance.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs or ladders, and move through facilities and active construction areas; wear required personal protective equipment; and occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to use a computer and review electronic and printed technical documents for extended periods, and safely access buildings, exterior sites, uneven terrain, utility areas, and active construction locations.
