About The Position

Project Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Management Representative for a project at Yosemite National Park, California, at the El Portal Wastewater Treatment Facility and Administrative Camp. The period of performance is 1,614 days, approximately 4.5 years. The project will rehabilitate the 45-year-old El Portal wastewater treatment facility, the largest in the National Park Service and the sole wastewater treatment service for Yosemite Valley, El Portal, and adjacent communities. The existing facility is undersized, has limited access points and failing systems, and cannot feasibly be modified to accommodate needed lab and office space, more effective treatment infrastructure, or adequate space for operation and maintenance. Due to the age of the plant, replacement components are difficult or impossible to procure, requiring full replacement of the electrical service, switchgear, motor control center, and distribution systems. The representative will provide technical assistance to the Contracting Officer (CO), monitor construction work for progress and conformance, support project documentation and correspondence, and review schedules and contractor requests. The role requires construction-related education or professional qualifications, experience on comparable projects, wastewater treatment and SCADA knowledge, and the ability to inspect work on site, including walking and climbing stairs or ladders daily.
