Requirements

Must be pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
Must have strong attention to detail
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Ability to develop an understanding of construction methods, materials and sequences
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong initiative, problem solving abilities
Ability to meet the hours and business commitment required of the job

Responsibilities

Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.
Performs field assignments under superintendent or foreman supervision/instruction.
Gains field experience and understanding of field production.
Gains valuable experience on equipment and trucking capabilities.
Performs construction activities and gain a better understanding of how to best perform them.
Understands construction means and methods.
Interacts and gains respect from crew.
Understands drawings and systems.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policies, procedures & training.
Performs other duties as assigned.
