About The Position

O2EPCM, Inc. is seeking a Construction Logistics Specialist IV for a full-time, onsite position in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on managing roadway coordination and terminal operations, specifically for night shifts within the airport environment. The specialist will ensure compliance with Area Shutdown Requests (ASRs), coordinate with various airport stakeholders, and maintain detailed reports on construction activities. This position requires a strong understanding of airport operations, construction management, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a safety-sensitive environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 20 years of Construction Management field experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Airport experience or 5 years of experience in other critical environment facilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams and Outlook.
  • Proficient in Adobe software namely Acrobat and InDesign.
  • Able to review and edit documents in Bluebeam.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project and Power Point.
  • Ability to assume additional responsibilities other than role outlined above.
  • Proven accuracy, reliability, priority setting, and completeness in job accomplishment.
  • Demonstrated planning, controlling, organizing and leadership skills in previous positions.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Must be able to work under pressure on high-profile complicated assignments.
  • Ability to understand design and construction intent of projects.
  • Must pass a federal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Nightly Huddle with Airport Operations support.
  • Distribute the Roadway Bulletin, Terminal Bulletin & Daily Roadway Map.
  • Perform “Site Checks” at active construction locations to verify personnel count, ASR compliance, barricading, signage, and delivery coordination.
  • Contact Airport Police and Airport Operations to address non-compliant vehicles or equipment.
  • Take photos of deployed projects, capturing vehicle/equipment deployment, active construction, traffic, passenger movement, barricades, and signage, and label them with relevant information.
  • Produce a Nightly Report with written narrative and photographic components, including personnel count, late flight information, and other relevant documents, and post it to the CALMSHARE site, save it on the V Drive, and distribute it to stakeholders.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and schedule for all active projects within the CTA, Terminals, and AOA locations.
  • Ensure all construction in public areas has appropriate barricades and signage as per the approved ASR, and work with contractors to correct deficiencies.
  • Work with The Development Group (TDG) Element representatives, Facilities Maintenance Group (FMUG), Airport Operations (OPS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Information Technology Group (IMTG), TDG Safety/Inspections, and LAWA Airport Police Traffic Officers to develop protocols for orderly shutdowns.
  • Meet regularly with the CALM Area Resident Manager – Lead and make recommendations concerning procedures, protocols, and staffing.
  • Develop appropriate tracking and record keeping tools.
