About The Position

Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio is seeking a Construction Leader for a limited part-time role, working on Fridays and Saturdays or Saturdays only. This position requires experience and knowledge of the residential construction process. The organization provides building plans, daily task lists, tools, and materials, along with volunteer builders. The Construction Leader's primary role is to provide leadership to ensure the day's activities are completed effectively, requiring the ability to perform tasks without direct supervision.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide and basic algebra and geometry).
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have and maintain a valid Texas driver license along with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to get the day’s activities done.
• Perform tasks without direct supervision.
• Manage, oversee, work on, and traverse a large-scale construction site.
• Work in varying weather conditions typical of construction environments.
