About The Position

Greenrise Technologies is a full-service green infrastructure firm that delivers innovative, reliable, and precise engineered turnkey systems in areas such as Greenroofs, Stormwater Management, Growing Medium, Componentry, and Maintenance. They also have a full-service erosion control division specializing in silt fence, hydroseeding, SWPPP inspections, and construction debris removal. The company is seeking positive individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a physical job and are looking for an opportunity to advance and build a stable career. The Crew Lead-Driver will work closely with the superintendent to lead the crew in completing field work for customers and will drive a work truck to and from worksites. They are responsible for the work and conduct of their assigned crew, expected to be an example, and lead as such.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to meet insurance requirements for past driving record.
  • Maintain and encourage good relationships with the crew and with the customer’s field staff.
  • Professionally represent the company when interacting with the superintendent, customers, office and field staff, and the vice president.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to be a strong and thoughtful leader.
  • Willingness to do any task asked of the crew.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain construction schedules with the superintendent.
  • Drive Company work truck to and from worksites, obeying traffic laws.
  • Meet periodically with each crew member to ensure they understand proper and safe company practices, including safety guidelines, proper field procedures, and correctly filling out time sheets and work sheets.
  • Correctly fill out time sheets and work sheets with necessary information for the superintendent and office staff for invoicing and payroll.
  • Review the status of equipment for their crew, identify maintenance or repair needs, and work with the superintendent and mechanics to address them promptly to ensure company efficiency, profitability, and machine uptime.
  • Lead the crew to complete field work for customers.
  • Be responsible for the work and conduct of the assigned crew.
  • Serve as an example to the crew of integrity, ingenuity, and honesty.
  • Adhere to company safety guidelines and ensure crew members also follow these guidelines.
