About The Position
COST of Wisconsin Inc. is seeking traveling construction laborers to work on large-scale team projects at theme parks, museums, aquariums, zoos, and other cool destinations in Wisconsin and across the U.S. The location will vary and depends on business need. This role involves performing general construction labor on active job sites, assisting with various tasks, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on construction or related labor experience required
- Ability to read and follow instructions and work effectively with a team
- Dependable, safety-focused, and physically capable
- OSHA-10 (required before hire)
Nice To Haves
- Blueprint reading experience
- Forklift or light equipment operation
- Welding, concrete, or fiberglass experience
Responsibilities
- Perform general construction labor on active job sites
- Assist with grading, reinforcing steel, structural work, concrete/shotcrete, plumbing, carpentry, and light equipment operation
- Use basic hand tools and power tools safely
- Clean and maintain work areas; identify job site hazards
- Follow all safety requirements, company policies, and procedures
