About The Position

DPR Construction is seeking Construction Interns to support project teams in executing construction activities. This role involves assisting with planning, coordination, and documentation, applying classroom knowledge to field and office tasks for hands-on experience in project delivery. The intern will collaborate with project engineers, superintendents, and trade partners to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance, and contribute to project meetings, reporting, and progress tracking.

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship, co-op, or related experience in construction, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment or participating in project-based coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists project teams with daily field coordination and documentation of construction activities.
• Supports project engineers in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals to identify scope and design requirements.
• Collects and organizes data for project logs, daily reports, and safety records.
• Observes site operations to understand construction means, methods, and sequencing.
• Participates in project meetings and supports preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up items.
• Assists with procurement tracking and materials management.
• Collaborates with team members to promote DPR Construction’s safety culture and continuous improvement mindset.
