About The Position
Work as part of a team on ground-up construction projects installing piping, tanks, and electrical and mechanical systems. Classroom and on-the-job training are provided for installation/construction positions and service technicians. Projects may take place at service stations, commercial sites, marinas, airports, and other locations. The role may require travel to job sites, including overnight travel, and work outdoors in all types of weather.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable, detail-oriented employee with strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift 75–100 lbs.
- Ability to work outside during all types of weather.
- Ability to work with others to ensure deadlines are met.
Nice To Haves
- Construction experience.
- Experience in the petroleum industry and familiarity with its products.
- Installer certifications in the product line.
- Heavy equipment operation experience.
Responsibilities
- Travel to job sites, which may require overnight travel.
- Operate heavy equipment to dig ditches and manually install equipment.
- Work with concrete, including framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing.
- Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and contractors to help meet deadlines.
- Follow safety procedures at all times.
- Follow safe housekeeping practices, including cleaning up the job site at the end of each day.
- Work with others to ensure deadlines are met.
