We retain on staff Resident Engineers, Design Engineers, Office Engineers, Team Leaders, Assistant Team Leaders, Estimators, Schedulers and Inspectors to carry out various engineering project assignments. Our excellent reputation is based on the quality of our work, the ability to maintain a work site, and the ability to consistently satisfy our clients. Our staff is well versed in the design and reconstruction of building, roadways, bridges, sewers, water mains and traffic control facilities. Our multidisciplinary capabilities, combined with the depth of our staff experience, enable us to handle a wide range of assignments of various types. Haider Engineering P.C., a rapidly expanding REI firm, needs Construction Inspector in the Westchester and Dutchess Counties for NYSDOT Utilities projects. The job is available on an as-needed basis for Day and Night shifts. There may be multiple assignments, and their duration will vary between one (1) to six (6) months. The compensation will be based on the number of hours worked.
Requirements
- NICET II-III Certificate (or equivalent)
- Day or Night shift work
- Candidates willing to work part-time are encouraged to apply.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10hr certification
- NYSDOT experience
Responsibilities
- Inspect utility projects for NYSDOT in Westchester and Dutchess Counties.
- Work Day and Night shifts as needed.
- Perform work on assignments with durations varying between one (1) to six (6) months.
