Construction Inspector
About The Position
LaBella Associates is currently seeking experienced Construction Inspectors (Part-Time) to join our growing team in Lockport, NY. This assignment is expected to require 2–3 days per week for approximately 20 months, with the potential to transition into full-time employment. LaBella’s multi-disciplinary team of architects, designers, engineers, land surveyors, managers, and environmental scientists work every day to make our world more functional, beautiful, and safe. Requirements
- Prior relevant work experience and knowledge of roads, stormwater utilities, water and sanitary sewer line installations as well as storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) inspections.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural plans and details.
- Minimum of 5- 7 years of Construction Inspection experience.
- 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
- Knowledge of erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10-hour certification.
- Microsoft Office experience.
Responsibilities
- Construction observation and documentation on specific project site locations.
- Travel to field locations on a regular basis.
- Construction document interpretation.
- Field report preparation.
- Record document preparation.
