Requirements

2+ years experience in field construction inspection and testing;
Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification;
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1;
One or more of the following DCA Certifications: Reinforced Concrete, Concrete Placement, Soils, Structural Masonry

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel);
Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results;
Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis;
Preparation of field data and technical reports; and
Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections.
