About The Position

LaBella Associates is currently seeking a full-time site representative for our 9,000 LF water main replacement project at the University at Buffalo. The project is expected to start around November 1, 2026, and run through August 2028. We will need a seasoned inspector who can handle complex situations, coordinate with LaBella, the campus, and the contractor, and thoroughly understand construction details and methods. LaBella’s multi-disciplinary team of architects, designers, engineers, land surveyors, managers, and environmental scientists work every day to make our world more functional, beautiful, and safe. Requirements

• Prior relevant work experience and knowledge of roads, stormwater utilities, water and sanitary sewer line installations as well as storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) inspections.
• Minimum of 5- 7 years of Construction Inspection experience.
• 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
• OSHA 10-hour certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance.
• Microsoft Office experience a plus.
• Additional certification requirements maybe necessary.

Responsibilities

• Construction observation and documentation on specific project site locations.
• Travel to field locations on a regular basis.
• Construction document interpretation.
• Field report preparation.
• Record document preparation.
