About The Position

WSP USA Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Inspector for the inspection of water distribution systems & treatment facilities and wastewater collection systems, pump stations and treatment facilities. The candidate will serve as a Construction Inspector to support our Construction management and Inspection services related to Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Projects in Washington DC. Your Impact Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes and maintain up-to-date project records. Review Contractor submittals, requests for information, change order requests, and as-built drawings. Measure and record pay items. Attend job progress meeting. Communicate conditions and field conflicts/changes to Owner. Work closely with others team members, along with personnel from utilities, state, local, and federal agencies. Demonstrate independent and effective problem solving/decision making. Who You Are Minimum Requirements: Minimum 7 years’ experience in Water/Wastewater/Stormwater pumping stations & treatment plants. Experience in field inspection, or construction supervision of facilities projects. High School Diploma Must possess knowledge and experience in ASTM, ACI, and other miscellaneous construction testing requirements, as well as knowledge in construction inspection procedures, and inspections methodologies, including and construction safety. Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $45-48/hour WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. Requirements
