About The Position

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP (WRA) is a company with over 110 years in business, known for quality work and employees. They are seeking qualified Construction Inspectors to join their team to support various local and state clients in the Baltimore region, helping to design infrastructure and buildings.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of Construction Inspection experience in highway, bridge and roadway construction with accompanying certifications
  • Must have a high school degree or state equivalency certificate
  • Must have demonstrated construction inspection experience with assorted interstate, roadway, bridge, storm drainage, TMDL and building facility contracts involving MDOT SHA construction standards and specifications
  • Must have experience with OOC construction inspection contract documentation including preparing Inspector Daily Reports (IDRs), Force Account Records, reconciling Contractor Monthly Invoicing and providing detailed weekly progress reports related to both project progress and budget
  • Must have or be able to obtain all applicable MARTCP certificates
  • Must have or be able to obtain a current SHA Temporary Traffic Control Manager’s Training Course Card (or secure the same prior to work assignment)
  • Must have or be able to obtain MDE RPC Card and SHA E&S Yellow Card
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must have a personal vehicle for travel to and from assigned construction sites

Responsibilities

  • Support various local and state clients in the Baltimore region
