About The Position

TRC is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to join their Construction Inspection team for a NYSDOT Interstate highway paving project in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with demonstrated hands-on experience and technical expertise in highway construction or restoration.

Requirements

• Must have bridge and highway construction experience, with NYSDOT.
• NICET Level II or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity with NYSDOT MURK Documentation and using SiteManager.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Night Shift, over-time and potential weekend work availability.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections to ensure the work performed by the Contractor is in compliance with the contract documents.
• Perform field material tests as necessary.
• Take field measurements, collect field data and prepare DWRs as per MURK requirements in SiteManager.
