About The Position

Hill is seeking a Construction Inspection Supervisor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for Spring 2026. The supervisor will oversee and perform daily inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications. The role involves observing field work, evaluating workmanship and materials against applicable standards, identifying and communicating field issues to project management, and providing solutions to mitigate problems. Inspection work must be documented using PennDOT or Pennsylvania Turnpike daily inspection reports and other reports.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of transportation, highway, or bridge construction inspection experience.
• Active Professional Engineer’s License.
• NICET Level IV Certification in Highway Construction. Only NICET Certifications in Highway Construction are allowed unless other NICET subfields are requested for Central Office approval.
• PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification or NECEPT Field Technician Certification.
