About The Position

Hill is seeking a Construction Inspection Supervisor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for Spring 2026. The role supervises and performs daily inspections of construction work, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. The supervisor observes field work and checks that workmanship and materials meet required standards, identifies and communicates field issues to project management, and provides solutions to mitigate problems. The role also documents work using PennDOT or Pennsylvania Turnpike daily inspection reports and other reports.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of transportation, highway, or bridge construction inspection experience.
• Active Professional Engineer’s License.
• NICET Level IV Certification in Highway Construction. Only NICET certifications in Highway Construction are allowed unless other NICET subfields are requested for Central Office approval.
• PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification or NECEPT Field Technician Certification.
