This role involves Materials Testing and Geotechnical Analysis of commercial construction sites. Field technicians work hands-on to perform important tests on construction materials such as concrete, soils, rebar, mortar, and more. The position offers the opportunity to learn documentation, study rock and soil mechanics, and be involved in new construction projects in the area and across the Southeast. The company provides a work truck, laptop, tools, and equipment. Cell phone reimbursements are provided to all field technicians. On-the-job training, company-paid certifications with incentives, and per diem for travel expenses when working outside the local area are also included. This position may require night shift work and some weekend work days. The daily schedule can change, requiring accommodation for a flexible working schedule and reliable transportation to the branch office at all hours.
