About The Position

This position is for a Construction Materials Testing Field Technician Trainee, requiring no prior experience, though basic construction skills and outdoor work experience are preferred. The role involves hands-on work performing important tests on construction materials such as concrete, soils, rebar, and mortar on commercial construction sites. The trainee will learn to document findings, study soil mechanics, and contribute to new construction projects across the Southeast. The company provides a work truck, laptop, tools, and equipment, along with cell phone reimbursements, on-the-job training, and company-paid certifications with incentives. Per Diem is paid for travel expenses outside the local area. A full benefits package is available. There is also an option to join a team of Remote Project Technicians for projects in various states, which includes per diem and paid travel time.

Requirements

Good driving record
Clean criminal record
Cleared physical
Drug screen
Able to accommodate a flexible working schedule
Reliable transportation to and from the branch office at all hours of the day if needed
