We are in search of a Construction Field Manager in the Charleston, SC region for a residential Drywall and Paint company. Field Managers will be provided an opportunity to advance within a fast-growing construction company. The Field Manager is responsible for the scheduling and supervising of all phases from start to finish and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Must be organized and able to coordinate and communicate with a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset
  • Construction knowledge preferred but not required
  • Project management understanding is a plus
  • Ability to safely perform physical duties, including regularly lifting and moving materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all phases of residential drywall and paint projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Determine needed resources including manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Plan construction operations and schedule project phases.
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage contractors and field staff.
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor progress.
  • Supervise laborers and provide guidance as needed.
  • Ensure all work meets company and client standards.
  • Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and report any issues or risks promptly.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams and disciplines.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure efficient workflow from project start to completion.
