About The Position

We are seeking a results-driven and leadership-focused Construction Field Manager to oversee our field operations across single-family residential renovation projects in the DFW metroplex and Houston. This role manages and mentors our team of Acquisition Field Coordinators and Construction Field Coordinators, serving as the primary field trainer, quality control lead, and escalation point for site operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about construction quality, excels at team development, and is committed to maintaining high operational standards and safety across a high-volume renovation pipeline.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership ability with experience training, managing, and developing field personnel.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes, building components, safety practices, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and evaluate construction drawings, scopes of work, and inspection reports.
  • Proficiency using smartphones/tablets, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, NavigateAI, AppFolio, and Pipedrive.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for local travel across the DFW metroplex and Houston.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor Acquisitions Field Coordinators and Construction Field Coordinators, holding the field team accountable to company safety standards, timelines, and operational KPIs.
  • Serve as the primary trainer for field personnel on standard operating procedures, including property winterization protocols, NavigateAI, Pipedrive, and weather emergency checks.
  • Perform regular spot-check audits and quality control walkthroughs on active and completed renovation sites to ensure compliance with company scopes, rent-ready standards, and municipal building codes.
  • Partner with the Construction Operations Manager to verify scope alignment, address material logistics issues, and optimize trade partner/vendor field execution.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for field-level vendor performance issues, disputes, and complex job-site challenges.
  • Approve TREC inspection deficiencies, ensuring all corrective items are completed in a timely manner prior to final project sign-off and property handover.
  • Lead emergency weather response efforts, organizing field personnel for rapid post-storm damage inspections, and property protection protocols.
