About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Construction Field Inspector for its Critical Infrastructure team. The position performs construction inspection on facilities projects, covering civil, electrical/communications, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting work. The inspector verifies that construction complies with each project's approved plans and specifications, as well as approved means, methods, and procedures. Assignments are received from, and the position reports to, the Program Manager, Task Manager, or a designated representative. No security clearance is required.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a civil, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting inspector.
• At least five years of experience supporting multiple tasks.
• Practical knowledge of engineering and construction practices and disciplines, and codes and regulations relating to different technical areas of construction.
• Successful completion of the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection work related to civil, electrical/communications, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting.
• Inspect facilities projects for compliance with approved project plans and specifications.
• Ensure work follows approved means, methods, and procedures.
• Receive assignments from and report to the Program Manager, Task Manager, or designated representative.
