About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Construction Field Inspector for its Critical Infrastructure team. The position involves construction inspection on facilities-type projects across civil, electrical/communications, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting disciplines. The inspector checks that work complies with project plans and specifications, as well as approved means, methods, and procedures. Assignments come from and the role reports to the Program Manager, Task Manager, or a designated representative. No security clearance is required.

Requirements

At least three years of experience as a civil, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting inspector.
At least five years of experience supporting multiple tasks.
Practical knowledge of engineering and construction practices and disciplines, and of codes and regulations relating to different technical areas of construction.
Successful completion of the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course.

Responsibilities

Inspect construction work related to civil, electrical/communications, mechanical, structural, roofing, and general contracting.
Work on facilities-type projects.
Ensure work complies with approved project plans and specifications and with approved means, methods, and procedures.
Receive assignments from and report to the Program Manager, Task Manager, or designated representative.
